San Francisco Police

Not just out for a ride.
But keeping it a better place for me to ride.
And paying the price.

I have to admit if I were a policeman
I would request the bicycle beat.
This post is dedicated to the memory of
Bryan Tuvera,
a four year vet with the
San Francisco police.
He was killed in the line of duty
last Friday.

The SF Gate reports that Ofcr. Tuvera died ten years to the minute after his father died. His funeral will be held this Friday, with a candlelight vigil Thursday evening. Both the candlelight vigil, scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m., and the memorial service, scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m., are to be held at St. Mary's Cathedral at 1111 Gough St.

This is SFPD's third line-of-duty death in eight months.
